1) Is it legal to own a Remington tactical rifle if you are not in law enforcement? Yes it is legal even in California. 2) What is the difference between the 700P and the 700PSS? There is no difference. The P designation for police is more politically correct than PSS Police Special Sniper, however the PSS designation is here to stay even if it is not stamped on the gun. Most Remington Law Enforcement weapons now have a P designation. 3) Where can I buy a 700 DM PSS (detachable magazine) ? These rifles are no longer in production. There has been lots of speculation as to why. My thoughts on this is most people work up one load for precision shooting and a real shooter needs only one shot. Tell me again why do you want a DM? 4) How accurate are these rifles? How good of a shot are you? These rifles shoot better than the majority of their owners. 5) What scope do you recommend? The best that you can afford. All of our custom rifles get Leupold scopes unless the customer insists on another brand. |
